Grant Career Center received a $50,000 workforce development grant from Duke Energy to start a Power Lineworker Academy. The Duke Energy Foundation provides philanthropic support to address the needs of the communities where its customers live and work. The Foundation provides more than $30 million annually in charitable gifts. With its workforce development grants, Duke Energy is investing workforce education and training programs that prepare future workers to develop innovative solutions for the energy industry's most pressing challenges. Through various community investment vehicles, Duke Energy provided more than $2.9 million in support of Greater Cincinnati initiatives in 2018.
